After the great success of the Monroe console launched in 2018, Bessa created a new version of this unique piece. “Customers were constantly asking us to resize the Monroe console into a bigger model! Our experience showed us that the original console is a dominant piece in every spaces. Therefore, it made all the sense to launch a bigger version so that it continues to preserve its essence in larger settings” (Creative director, João Bessa) Monroe, the sexiest Pin-up of the 1950s, inspired this of Art & Design creation. This piece was born from the Monroe floor lamp and its design captures the essence of Monroe’s image and the sensuality of her legs. One hundred percent hand-worked with noble materials, the Monroe console is another piece that expresses a familiar story, bringing passionate memories.
